A multimedia project in Korean online media.
I might refer to this multimedia for my project portraying poverty in Korea.
This project illustrates one of the oldest apartments which was supposed to be torned down by authority. Even though some of the disadvantaged still live there, the apartment was forced to be gone for a better living condition. People still living there can't afford to stay where they live due to the skyrocket cost of livings even after the new apartment will be established in the same location.

A male
A man who moved from Jindo area 20 years ago picks up recycled boxes on the street to make an end meet. In a very cold weather, he spends most time picking up recycled ones on the street in Busan, Korea and sells them in a recycle shop.
He takes a rest, sitting on the his handcart.
Picking up boxes on the street becomes competitive. He looks at a woman carrying her handcart in another side of street.

a family
A concrete house from outside. On the hill, hundreds of households are located in this town.
An old woman,82,has raised her 4-year-old grandson in her house. Moving from another city, she has been in this shanty down for 10 years. In a very cold weather, the lack of an affordable heating system prevents this family from warming them.
Her son who lives miles away left her grandson a year ago. She says "My son said he will take his son back to him when his son turns 7 years old".
